- more stability and control over the server
- a better setup to share the machine with another people when the server is going to be underloaded or potential for another extensions.
[edit] Main plan
- sundance.root - the physical machine running oVirt and virtualising the rest using KVM. We plan to set up here a recent RHEL6 kernel.
- sundance.i-rpg.net (239) - the former sundance is going to move here and then we are going to distribute the other services to another virtual machines. httpd, mysqld and a backup DNS.
- sundance.6irc.net (208) - DNS, IRCd and so on.
- sundance.shell.6irc.net (222) - a shell account provider.
I think about using NFSv4 for storage distribution. That way, we'll still have the disk space flexibility.
